Pre-conference Workshops

Workshops provide an extended forum for small groups (15-30 people) to exchange ideas on a specific topic of common interest. Workshops will be held on Tuesday, June 27 and Wednesday, June 28 prior to the ICLS2006 conference.
Workshops will be held on Tuesday, June 27 and the morning Wednesday, June 28 prior to the ICLS2006 conference. The morning workshops session is from 9:00 to 12:30 with a break from 10:30-11:00. The lunch break is 12:30-2:00. The afternoon session is from 2:00 to 5:30 with a break from 3:30-4:00.
The main conference will charge a registration fee that will cover conference expenses. There is an additional charge for pre-conference workshops to cover the cost of meals and refreshments. Half day workshops will include coffee and lunch for morning, coffee and hors doeurves for afternoon and participants will be charged $25. Full day workshops will include coffee, lunch, hors doeurves and participants will be charged $35.
There is one full day slot (Tuesday the 26th) and three half day slots (Tuesday morning, Tuesday afternoon, and Wednesday Morning). We currently have up to four rooms available. We anticipate capping each workshop at 20 attendees, but will consider adjusting if asked. There will be rooms available that can accommodate up to 60 people.
Accepted workshops will be advertised on the website when conference registration opens.
Workshop Proposal Guidelines
Proposals will be reviewed by the conference co-chairs and the members of the workshop subcommittee and acceptance notifications will be sent out on January 20th.
All ICLS Pre-Conference Workshops proposals must use the linked form and adhere to the word count limits on the brief description and detailed description.
